Like a ticking timebomb set to explode, #Jamaica's newest #dancehall lyricist Gavo Dem recently chatted with our Great Amazement Team after his first official music video shoot "Go Go Gyal" song produced by Smashing Records, video directed by Ras Gression and co-directed by award wining Jamaican filmmaker Craig "Amaziyah The Great" Kirkland. the entertainer was enthusiastic in a high electrifying spirit as he explained how patient he has been almost a decade and now it's his time explode and create global warming with his volcanic rhymes.
Born on the 8th day of January 1987 and christened Adrian Forbes, currently resides in Frazer's Content Spanish Town, Jamaica. Forbes decide to take on the musical journey after he was influenced by another community entertainer Omar Carty aka Enestee. As the years swung swiftly he managed to master is craft where both him and Enestee performed on many stage shows together as a duo, other friends were fascinated by their composition and they later form a crew called The Real Unruly.
Life in the garrison is never usually an easy task for many of our Jamaican youths, some turned to crime and violence and make matters worst but Gavo Dem aim was to be a roll model to the children of tomorrow, he admitted getting distracted on many occasion but after being in a short movie called "GHETTO VISIT" directed by close associate Amaziyah The Great, it illuminated a brighter vision. The film was and entry at the Jamaica Reggae Film Festival in 2010 where they received Honour Award.

Jamaican youths is no shortage in extreme great talents but I guess media hype who dem feel like dem waan hype up, but seriously how long does hype last? I sat patiently having the industry under my surveillance and observed how dem ignore many authentic talents including myself and endorse one bag of garbage to deteriorate the minds of my people… Imagine this, with all the positive things we brought forth to the table we were pushed aside like a baby resenting distasteful food… One upon a time I was angry yes but giggle hysterically like an insane man for all that ignorance which they displayed motivates me to go at my dreams harder than before because I swear I will never switch or sell out myself like some of dem who got frustrated along life’s journey.
I Amaziyah The Great call upon every individual to look in themselves and see where you have went wrong and make that change now, start supporting the positive and conscious moves… our children’s future are heading for an enormous wreck if we are not careful for their morals are fading, manners have disappeared and self respect in some of us seeming not to exist somewhat.
As of today and forever, whoever it be, family, friend or ever a stranger you see doing something good, please #SUPPORT in any way you can. You’d be amaze to see how many miles your support takes him or her. We all have the power and none is better than the other nuh care how rich you are, think of all that we are doing will benefit us and not oneself because all we do takes #TeamWork.
