To the filmmakers who submitted their films and performers who came out to #StarFAMEFestival2014 Nov 22nd We are so sorry that the police had terminated our event and we had to discontinue. We had submitted out letter to the Spanish Town Police station for approval to get a permit from the St. Catherine Parish Council but was refused. However maximum promotion, newspaper highlights and word on the streets were already out and about, we tried to continue since were weren't hosting one of those regular parties but the result to that was we were invaded by law officers who told up to lock off or get locked up.

I Craig A. Kirkland sincerely apologize to the fans who came out to see our films and to watch our upcoming artiste perform. I will still find a way to screen our films even if dem waan jail me fe this raaase! Me vex! StarFAME not promoting no oral or anal sex as a matter of fact this is a no sex content, our films are educating and inspiring, non violence no bad language and our entertainers agreed to deliver positive and uplifting messages so why 'Dutty Babylon?' Call me crazy to be writing about this over again but tell me how would you feel to invest all your money in something you believed in, bare in mind that you have kids to feed, medical, rent among other bills and expenses but you started something good and you know it will work and benefit others but you 'Dutty Babylon' come crash everything claiming you are here to protect and serve?

I am not rich so me nuh have money to dash away... today my kids are hungry, they never went to school the following day, I am not looking sympathy... this is truth! My son just left the hospital for his asthma came upon him... My mind is like a busy highway as all sorts swiftly travels through but me a try hold it enuh... Some claim say we are criminals ... lol but yet we try abide by the laws of the system and unnu still reject us... Is it because of where we live? These things nuh occur uptown or is it that we must not be thinking too smart and make ourselves influential individuals? When you stop ghetto youths progress and a way to survive honestly... Really what are you implying?

Government pay attention! This system is sick. As a people, we all need to stand and make that change. #FightForOurRights All of us are one so wah this fa really? Although me broke... I am not entirely interested in all that money I lost, I just want our films to be screened and the performers to deliver so if anyone out there see this message and we can re-organize how to get this up and running before 2014 ends, I would greatly appreciate. And I won't even pretend, take just a few moments to read this? Dutty Babylon... Who are you to feel unnu can stop creative thinkers? Positive performers and creators/lovers of the arts? I promised my kids and swear on my own life I will still show my films among all the other films I have gotten from aspiring filmmakers too... The world needs to see what positive moves we are doing, before this year come to pass... even if it means for me to invite people in my one rented room and show my films, I will do it.

I can proudly and boldly say I have contributed to eradication of crime in our communities, I have motivated, I have inspired... Now even the young and old are saying de one motto "Great way is the gateway" So when Babylon stop a #StarFAMEFestival2014 they are trying to stop many talented and progressive Jamaicans who aim to be significant entrepreneurs and not flipping criminals.

When you have a Garrison Glory Team all the way from Ochi Rios, Permanent from Portland, Silk Legend from St Thomas, people from Kingston, Portmore and St. Elizabeth can can come out to #StarFAMEFestival2014 it's no ordinary look! When we have supports all over the world like Michelle Brissette, Eddie Wisdom, Chrissy Fox, Abana Maga Zine (France), Linda Arlett, Parris Kirkland, Peter Gittins from England, Egerton from Africa, David Greene from Mexico and all dem other fans supporting our mission, it's not a normal look.
