About Domestic Abuse! New Jamaican Short Movie Erupts Viral

It’s quite fascinating how I wrote this as a #poem on my facebook page about two years ago, I went in studio a year after and later decided to add visuals to it. Last May 2016, I summoned upcoming artiste from my community Omar Carty​ who act as Roy, Milton McGreggor as Dick, Echardo Craig​ as the pastor, Oshin Morgan​ (lady by the fence) Garnett Apache Allen​ as Silly Billy and share the idea with them, all were elated and ready. My little sister Trudy Kirkland​ aka @Quali.Tee decided she wants to play the roll of Pam, I never wanted to involve her to act as that character in the film but she bad me up and to be honest, I have no regrets to see how well she did for her first time and I am truly proud of my entire #team.

A month after, I went overseas to The States on a small vacation promoting  ‘My Name Is Pam’ along with other tracks I did like #DancehallPoetry and #HappyMood.  Respect and thanks to my Auntie Precious and Rohan Da Great in North Carolina, Alfred Lashley​ and Shalena  Brown in South Carolina, Alx English and friends in Connecticut, also to Natty Ray Movements in New York. Special thanks also to my marketing manager Ms. Mischelle SweetChoclate Squire​ from Caribbean Music Xplosion​, Ontario Canada. All those people and more were the ones who first outside my country that I saw with my own eyes were so excited about our film in a way I never seen before. Thanks also to everyone on the worldwide web, whatsapp groups who watched, commented and shared so many people online wanted more so after my trip from #America I decided to do an extended version with the extra footage I had.



Dem kids voices you heard at the beginning ah me pickney dem, Ny Ashia and Ajani Kirkland, I love them dearly other Supporting acts in the film are #PinkBoss, Mark Ras​, Jonelle Huie, Kranical, Nykka Muzikk​, Kelly Frass, Joseph Allen, Nadisha Kirkland, Raddrick Whyne, Natacia Mannings and Shernette Campbell. That music in the background was created by Peter Maye and N. Collins for Great Amazement Multimedia Entertainment.

One of the things I can recall very clearly after my interview with #Queen #EliseKelly on @Irie_FM was from where you are use what you have and do what Jah sent you to do. Like #SizzlaKalongi said, rise to the occasion and give them a #surprise, that’s the mission we are on Great way is the gateway and we ain’t stopping.
