The Mighty BOUNTY Killer!!! Thats right... Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!.... He is indeed the latest brand ambassador for telecoms provider Digicel. The announcement was made on July 20, 2020.

The five star general general @grunggaadzilla was very excited about the partnership.

In welcoming the deejay to its line-up of ambassadors, Nasha-Monique Douglas, chief marketing officer for Digicel Jamaica, said that Bounty Killer will also be playing a pivotal role in Digicel's community outreach and philanthropic efforts.

“After decades at the top of his game, Bounty has become not only a dancehall legend but also a cultural icon in Jamaica. Bounty Killer, given name Rodney Pryce, is a Grammy-nominated dancehall deejay. The JPP - Jamaica Progressive Party has become the fourth registered political party in the island. The Kingston-based party, led by Gilbert Alexander Edwards, was given the green light go by the Electoral Commission of Jamaica on July 15, 2020

ECJ Chairman Earl Jarrett noted that it was indeed a positive development for democracy.

“We are encouraged to see the increased participation of citizens in the democratic process. The ECJ looks forward to engaging future aspirants in the formalization of their registration as political parties,” he said.

The JPP will now be eligible to contest future elections and will have its finances monitored by the Electoral Commission of Jamaica.

So 4 registered parties are now officially in our country for those who never knew. Most people did already know bout the two main parties dem which are The JLP - Jamaica Labour Party, and the PNP - People’s National Party, the 3rd UIC - United Independents’ Congress, The UIC is based in Bogue, St Elizabeth, led by Joseph Patterson and now we have the 4th which is The JPP - Jamaica Progressive Party, as I mentioned before it is based Kingston and led by Gilbert Alexander Edwards.
