This book of poetry "Don't Cry" Kirkland's first official novel. "Yes! I am now an author. (lol) It is indeed a poetic collection of my art from my heart, dedicated to my children Ny Ashia, Ajani Kirkland, and both my parents Enalee Allen and Albert Kirkland. A gift to the world which allows you to get a small peek at what's inside this mind of mine."

"Consists of 102 amazing poems some of which are my personal experiences, since my existence on earth I had quite an interesting journey, some of which I share here. There are no doubt readers will be empowered by the words I write as I ignite light and insights, some might see some of my compositions somewhat controversial but it's all right, with words I fight and not violence."

No female should be treated like trash, I have always supported women in a positive way, a lot more is in this book. My ladies let them see the goddess in you and don't trick yourself into thinking you are a dumb doll."

"In spite of how I had to put out "Don't Cry" as an adult book, it's mainly because minor mature arguments are there but a lot more family-type content is among these pages that you can indeed share with your kids, to the rate of how people nowadays are behaving in our society, not many are influencing our children in a positive way, this is a book they can learn stuff from. A high school teacher in Jamaica suggested I should hurry and make a version for schools all over the world."

I proudly declared my place of residency because at times some people seem to think there is no good there, that is a fat lie! I am a living testimony of being someone great and loved by people all over the world. Parts of this book talk to the youths who might have got caught up in this wicked system, violence is not something I would not talk about, because it exists all over, be kings of the earth and not warmongers"
